Testing with how much I can get away just using a flat surface, here's a render from Marmoset, looks like I'll be able to get away with a lot :)

Will probably re do the pattern on the leather straps, did this one as a test to see of it would read, it needs to be more robust :/
Decided to add a back side as well, using these straps as secondary detail, the resting cushion will be the star of the back side
I'm gonna call the sculpt for the front done-ish, rest of the detail can be achieved in photoshop

I think we're ready for Zbrush
Decided to make this shield, love the design and simplicity of it
